A. Way Fountain

Augustus W. Fountain III, PhD, is a Senior Instructor in the Department of Chemistry and Biochemistry at the University of South Carolina. His research focuses on analytical chemistry, particularly vibrational and laser spectroscopy, chemometrics, and electrochemistry. He specializes in developing advanced spectroscopic techniques for chemical identification and analysis, including remote detection and imaging. He has received numerous honours for his contributions to scientific research and education.
