Cynthia Larive

Cynthia K. Larive, PhD, is a distinguished bioanalytical chemist and academic leader specializing in nuclear magnetic resonance (NMR) spectroscopy and mass spectrometry. She served as Chancellor of the University of California, Santa Cruz, from 2019 to 2025 and previously held leadership roles at UC Riverside. As Editor-in-Chief Emeritus of the Analytical Sciences Digital Library (ASDL), she has contributed to advancing analytical chemistry education and research.
